NEW HAVEN, Ind. (ADAMS) – Officials are trying to figure out if an explosion may have caused a fire on Thursday.
Right now, police in New Haven say they don’t know what caused the blaze that seriously injured one person.
WANE-TV reports that neighbors say they heard a loud boom before the fire began.
Fire crews were called to a home on Woodmere Drive close to Hartzell Road just before 4:30 p.m.
Officers say one person was seriously injured in the fire, they were rushed to a hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment. Investigators are looking for a cause of the fire.
