MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Animal rescuers in Morgan County are looking for homes for nearly 100 animals after a raid on a backyard breeding operation.
The raid happened last week. Crews took more than 60 dogs, 17 chickens, 11 ducks, and three cats from the home. Investigators are not saying much about the raid, or possible charges.
The Morgan County Humane Society says the conditions were terrible.
The group is now caring for the animals and is asking people to adopt them. The Humane Society’s shelter is closed until further notice because they have too many animals.
