INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s next governor will make one of the highest salaries in the country in 2025, with pay going up by 65 % from what term-limited Governor Eric Holcomb is earning. The measure was approved in last year’s budget.
The lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general, state treasurer, and state comptroller will also get raises between 44 and 66%.
The next governor, be it Republican Mike Braun, Democrat Jennifer McCormick, or Libertarian Donald Rainwater, will earn $221,024 compared to Holcomb’s $133,684 salary.
