FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department says a juvenile has been arrested in connection with a shooting early Sunday morning.
Police were sent to the 4600 block of Glenmary Drive just after midnight Sunday on a report of shots being fired. The victim, a woman, was shot after a disturbance of some sort had broken out.
She was hospitalized in good condition with non-life-threatening injuries. The unidentified 17-year-old is charged with attempted murder and battery.

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:04am, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested a 17yo juvenile in connection to a shooting in the 4600 block of Glenmary Drive that occurred on 07/14/2024 at 0037 hours. The juvenile was arrested without incident and transported to the Allen Couty Juvenile Justice Center. He was charged with attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit was assisted in the arrest by the Allen County Juvenile Probation Department, the Vice and Narcotics Division, and the Aerial Support Unit.
