The Supreme Court’s second-longest serving justice is hours from revealing his retirement. Stephen Breyer will make it official during a White House event. The 83-year-old has been serving since 1994. President Biden is expected to nominate a Black woman to take his seat.
While flags are flying at half-staff on this International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It’s to honor the eleven-million people killed by Germany’s Nazi regime before and during World War Two. At least six million were Jewish and many were sent to concentration camps which ended in 1945.
