FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Both of the parents of a Fort Wayne boy who police say found a gun and shot himself are now looking at charges.
According to WANE-TV, prosecutors in Allen County filed charges yesterday against the boy’s mother, Shonese Prince-Little. His father, Dauris Anderson, was charged on Wednesday. Authorities say the nine-year-old boy found a gun and shot himself back in January.
Investigators say it’s the second time one of the couple’s children found a gun and accidentally pulled the trigger. Police say an older child shot himself in the pinky after finding a gun back in 2019.
