COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose says the state’s May third primary is ‘virtually impossible’ as congressional district maps have still not been approved. LaRose made the statement in a letter to state Senate President Matt Huffman yesterday.
During an Ohio Redistricting Commission meeting last Thursday, LaRose told the group that Ohio is now close to violating federal election laws by missing ballot deadlines.
LaRose has ordered Ohio’s county election boards to prepare ballots for races not affected by district maps.
