INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s state gasoline taxes will be lowered at the start of 2023.
In January, 52.9 cents per gallon will be charged in state taxes. That’s according to rate changes released by the Indiana Department of Revenue this week. It brings the price down by about three cents.
The change puts the rates at their lowest level since April.
It comes as gas prices are dropping toward $3.00 a gallon. AAA reports the national average price for regular is down another two cents this week – to $3.12 a gallon.
