DENVER (ADAMS) -The Broncos are set to clash with the Colts on Thursday Night Football in the Mile High city. Denver is looking to bounce back from a 32-23 loss to the Raiders. The 2-and-2 Broncos are dealing with some major injuries after Javonte Williams was lost for the season and Randy Gregory was moved to injured reserve. Luckily for Denver, Russell Wilson is expected to play after dealing with a right shoulder injury.
The Colts come off a loss to the Titans and enter at 1-2-and-1 on the season. And Indy will head into Thursday Night Football without the NFL’s reigning rushing champion.
Jonathan Taylor has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Taylor suffered the injury during Sunday’s loss to the Tennessee Titans when he got his right foot twisted in a pile late in the game.
This will be the first game Taylor has missed due to injury in his three pro seasons. Taylor’s only other absence came in 2020 when he was deemed a COVID-19 close contact.
