INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A mural representing the journey of Afghan evacuees that stayed at Camp Atterbury will be on display in the Indianapolis International Airport.
7,000 refugees stayed in the Hoosier state in September of 2021.
Dozens of Afghan adults and children worked on the mural. The airport is its first stop of a nationwide touring exhibit.
