INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The new week means a new beginning for the plan to do away with gun licenses in Indiana.
The state Senate will hear the plan next. Supporters want to join 21 other states, including Kentucky, and allow law-abiding gun owners to carry their guns without a permit from the state.
The plan sailed through the Indiana House last week.
Several law enforcement groups are hoping to stop it in the Senate. A similar plan died in the Senate last year.
