MUNCIE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Students who evacuated from Afghanistan are beginning to take classes at Muncie Community Schools.
Seven brothers signed up for classes this week and received free school supplies to get started.
They’re part of the 6,000 evacuees who temporarily live at Camp Atterbury.
The Muncie Afghan Refugee Resettlement Committee is helping to get as many evacuees settled in Muncie as possible.
