FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A local organization is hoping to turn a family’s tragedy into positive change for people in domestic violence situations.
Angela Zent is the stepmother of Sarah Zent who was murdered in 2021 along with her three young children in their Gay Street home. Her family believes Sarah and her children died at the hands of her domestic abuser and want to raise awareness and give any help to others in similar situations.
Angela started a non-profit group in Sarah’s name. This June, the group is holding an event to help further their goals of raising awareness and helping anyone in a domestic abuse situation.
