FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Embassy Theatre will host its annual Marquee Gala featuring Broadway Star and touring artist Caissie Levy on Friday, April 26, at 5:30 p.m. Representatives say that the event is a unique fundraiser that showcases the mission of the Embassy Theatre and brings Broadway stars to Fort Wayne for an enchanting evening of music and camaraderie.

As a non-profit organization, the Embassy relies on memberships as well as patron and donor support to thrive in the community. This event is particularly special as it delivers Broadway talent on the historic stage where the attendees also sit to enjoy the performance up close. Before the show attendees will enjoy a hosted bar and elevated food stations while continuing to support the Embassy through two popular philanthropic opportunities.
Guests can Fund-A-Need, choosing items like a scholarship to the Embassy’s SCORE! education musical theater intensive or a stage microphone. There will be many needs at a wide range of price points. Also, the event will include a Wine Pull. For $25, guests will be able to take home a bottle of wine to enjoy after the event.
Caissie Levy most recently starred as Diana Goodman in the UK premiere of Next To Normal at The Donmar Warehouse. This summer she returns to London for the production’s West End transfer at Wyndham’s Theatre. Other theatre appearances include Tom Stoppard’s Leopoldstadt (Broadway); Rose in Caroline, Or Change (Broadway, Grammy Nomination for her work on the cast album); Elsa in Frozen (Broadway, cast album); Fantine in Les Miserables (Broadway); Molly in Ghost (Broadway, West End, cast album); Sheila in Hair (Broadway, West End, cast album); Elphaba in Wicked (Los Angeles, Broadway); Penny in Hairspray (Broadway, 1st US National Tour); Maureen in Rent (US National Tour); The Bedwetter (Off Broadway); First Daughter’s Suite (Off Broadway, cast album) and Murder Ballad (Off Broadway). In concert, her performances include The Music of John Kander & Fred Ebb; The Songs of Kristen and Bobby Lopez (Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops); Sir Rod Stewart (Caesars Palace Las Vegas residency); Musical Gala Concert: 10th Anniversary (Tokyu Theatre Orb, Tokyo). Caissie has developed an extensive solo tour throughout the United States, Canada and the UK. Her solo album, With You, is widely available.
