INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana is ranked the fifth-worst state for potholes according to USA Today Blueprint.
To the north, neighbor Michigan is third-worst for potholes. The problem becomes worse every spring as the snow and ice melt and the moisture expands in the cracks in the pavement.
AAA says 44 million Americans had to pay for repairs in the past year from pothole-related damage.
