FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – According to WANE-TV, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources is reporting an increase of bobcat sightings in the Fort Wayne area.
DNR furbearer biologist Geriann Albers told the news outlet that the large cats began showing up in southern Indiana in the late 1900s and are now moving to northeast Indiana.
Albers says while bobcats are nocturnal and secretive, they are showing up more often on trail and security cameras.
