INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana House has voted 64-30 along party lines to approve new rules for voting by mail.
The bill requires voters to give more identification information to get a mail-in ballot, including a copy of a government-issued identification card or their driver’s license number and the last four digits of their Social Security number.
If Governor Holcomb signs the bill, it will take effect on July 1.
