DEKALB CO. (ADAMS) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says that a Pleasant Lake man was hurt in a crash early on Friday.
However, police don’t know exactly when it happened. The sheriff’s office says a passerby called 911 after coming across the wrecked car around 12:15 a.m. State Road 8.
When officers arrived at the 4200 block of SR 8, they found a white Ford Focus that was driven by Kayden Troxell, 20.
Police believe he was heading west at a high rate of speed when the Ford went off the road.
The vehicle appeared to have hit an embankment and two signs before coming to rest along the ditch line.
Troxell was taken to a hospital for a possible chest injury along with cuts and abrasions.
The DeKalb Co. Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Auburn Fire, Parkview EMS and Tony’s Towing.
