FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – An 18-year-old man is facing a Level 6 felony charge of criminal recklessness using a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor for reckless driving after being clocked going 130 miles an hour on US 33.
Anthony Lecona was charged yesterday after being arrested early Sunday morning.
The Allen County officer who stopped Lecona said he seemed to be “proud” that he drove the Ford Mustang that fast in a 45-mile-per-hour zone. A call was made to the police about three Mustangs, one of which matched his, racing on Interstate 69 about two hours before.
