FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Officials with the Fort Wayne Fire Department say that crews worked quickly to put out a mobile home fire Sunday night.
Crews arrived at 8:30 p.m. at the 3100 block of Wells Street and found a mobile home with heavy smoke. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in 10 minutes.
According to the FWFD, no one was inside at the time and there were no injuries reported.
This fire is under investigation. The mobile home suffered heavy smoke damage.

Fort Wayne Firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at approximately 8:30 Sunday evening at 3126 Wells Street lot 10. The first unit to arrive reported a fire in the center of the structure and began firefighting activities. It took firefighters 10 minutes to bring the fire under control. The home sustained moderate fire and water damage and heavy smoke damage. The occupant was not home at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters were assisted by FWPD, TRAA and NCE. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
