DEKALB CO., Id. (ADAMS) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department says that no one was hurt in a rollover crash Friday morning. Officers responded to the area of SR 205 at CR 7 in Garrett around 7:20 a.m. on the reports of the crash.
Once at the scene, it was determined Jeremy A. High, 46, of Garrett was stopped in his F-250 on CR 7. His truck was heading south – attempting to cross SR 205.
Sara Lester, 38, of Fort Wayne, was traveling southwest in an F-150 on SR 205 approaching the intersection of CR 7. That is when police say she disregarded a stop sign and drove into the path of High’s truck. Lester’s truck hit the rear passenger side of the F-250 – causing it to lose control and spin.
Lester’s truck traveled off the north side of the roadway and rolled over coming to rest on its passenger side facing east. Police say that she did not suffer any injuries in the crash.
Jeremy High was checked out on scene by EMS and refused medical treatment and did not complain of any injuries.
Police say his truck suffered $2,500 in damage. Lester’s truck is reported to be a total loss.
The DeKalb Co. Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Garrett Police Department and Parkview EMS.
