INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Thousands of Hoosiers are looking to vote by mail this election cycle, according to Marion County officials.
More than 17,000 absentee ballot applications were filed in the county so far, in just the first 15 days of processing. Across the state, there are thousands more, and a lot of the interest is due to the pandemic.
According to state elections officials, 2020 saw vote-by-mail records in the state with nearly 500,000 Hoosiers opting for the mail-in ballots.
