Even more people are expected to escape the war in Ukraine today. The country’s president confirms Russia again agreed to continue humanitarian corridors on this 15th day of fighting. At least 35,000 civilians managed to evacuate six cities and towns yesterday, fleeing to neighboring countries. But the goal was 100,000. Officials say Russian forces attacked some escape routes or blocked them with buses.
While outrage is growing over Russia’s bombing of a maternity hospital in Ukraine. It’s now being reported three people died, along with the 17 others injured. Despite this, U.S. and NATO officials are still against a no-fly zone. They say the goal is to end the war, not expand it.
