FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Investigators say a local man set his own home on fire.
It reportedly happened Wednesday night close to Bass and Thomas Roads. Neighbors told WANE-TV that around 8:30 p.m., the man lit the fire, then ran.
They reported a woman and two dogs were left inside but were able to get out.
Allen County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the still-unidentified man about a half-mile away. No one is saying why the man started the fire, or what his relationship to the woman is.
