CARMEL, Ind. (ADAMS) – Carmel’s mayor wants the city’s trash picked up immediately. Mayor Jim Brainard says their garbage collector, Republic Services, skipped trash collections last Thursday because of the snow.
Crews were supposed to make their rounds on Friday, but the mayor says the company said it wouldn’t send anyone out until today. Brainard wants to fine Republic $20,000 a day for each day the trash is not collected.
