COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – Minimum wage workers in Ohio are now making 50-cents more per hour.
Over the weekend on January 1st, the state’s minimum wage increased from $8.80 to $9.30 an hour for non-tipped employees, while tipped employees went from
$4.40 to $4.65.
Ohio is among 25 states seeing their workers get a raise in 2022.
With the increase, the Buckeye state still pays its minimum wage workers less than neighboring Michigan but more than West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky.
