FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – If you were off W. Coliseum on Monday evening, you may have noticed a large police presence at the Economy Inn motel. Officers were reported serving a high-risk warrant subject was inside one of the rooms.
Police initially received information around 4:30 and by 6:30 p.m., the Emergency Services Team (EST), Air Support Unit (ASU) and Crisis Response Team (CRT) were called to assist. Officers say that in the end, no one was found in the room.

On Tuesday, 12/20/2021, at approximately 4:24 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department were in the 3300 block of W. Coliseum Blvd. and received information that a high-risk warrant subject was in one of the rooms. Officers established a safe perimeter and attempted to gain more information.
