FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – For the second year, regional entertainment newspaper Whatzup wants to celebrate the area’s top young musicians.
Whatzup’s 20 Under 20 Awards acknowledge the wealth of musical talent in Northeast Indiana. Winners of the awards will be featured in a future Whatzup print issue and online at Whatzup.com.
Anyone may nominate musicians from the area — teachers, parents, even the musicians themselves.
An expert panel of judges will select winners based on a variety of criteria, including:
§ Musical skill and knowledge
§ Community school music activities
§ Academic performance and more
To be considered for the award, the nominee must be under 20 years of age as of March 31, 2022 and live in one of the following Indiana counties: Adams, Allen, Dekalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, or Whitley.
