FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Residents are invited to learn about the next steps for Riverfront Fort Wayne during two public events set for Thursday, December 5, 2019, 4-5 p.m. or 6-7 p.m. The information sessions will take place at the Park Foundation Pavilion in Promenade Park, 202 W. Superior St. and residents should RSVP here.

During the meeting, professionals from DAVID RUBIN Land Collective, the landscape architecture, and urban design firm contracted to lead Phases II and III of Riverfront Fort Wayne development will present the final renderings and recommendations from their work. Residents will see designs for the public spaces to the east and west of Promenade Park and learn about recommendations for zoning and land use, infrastructure, flood management and private development in the Riverfront District.

The event is free and open to the public, but residents are asked to RSVP for one of two sessions: one beginning at 4 p.m. and the other beginning at 6 p.m. Attendance to each event is limited to 150 people but another session will be planned if there is additional interest. Light refreshments will be served and people who RSVP will have a chance to win tickets to Winter Cozy, a Riverfront Fort Wayne party scheduled for January 25, 2020.
