CANTON, Ohio (ADAMS) – The Pro Football Hall of Fame is releasing its 15 finalists for the class of 2023.
Cornerback Darrelle Revis, defensive end Dwight Freeney and offensive tackle Joe Thomas headline the group of first-time finalists. They are joined by defensive ends Jared Allen and DeMarcus Ware.
Also on the defensive side were cornerback Ronde Barber, safety Darren Woodson and linebackers Patrick Willis and Zach Thomas. Cornerback Albert Lewis rounds out the group in his final year of eligibility. On offense, wide receivers Torry Holt, Andre Johnson, and Reggie Wayne lead the way.
Star returner Devin Hester is also a finalist, along with offensive tackle Willie Anderson. The official class of 2023 will be announced on February 9th.
