Post Office investigating missing Marion County absentee ballots

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – There is no word about what happened to some missing absentee ballots in Marion County.

The Post Office yesterday said it is investigating but didn’t have a more specific update. A number of voters say they asked for a ballot weeks ago. The Post Office originally said the ballots were delayed, but now those ballots are thought to be missing.

The Marion County Election Board says anyone who asked for an absentee ballot and did not yet get one can vote in-person on Election Day. Yesterday was the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail.
