WHITLEY CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of S.R. 5.
Crews will replace two culverts on S.R. 5 between U.S. 30 and U.S. 33. Work is scheduled to begin on or after October 4 and is expected to last for four days.
During the closure, drivers should use the posted detour of U.S. 33, S.R. 109 and U.S. 30, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
