Indiana’s flu death toll now over 30

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s public health managers say flu activity in the state is low, but the flu is still deadly.

The Indiana State Department of Health last week said the death toll from the flu this flu season has hit 31.

That’s up from 22 the week before.

The death toll is in-line with what Indiana saw last flu season but is well below the number of flu cases and flu deaths that the state saw in 2017 and 2018.
