INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Police in Indianapolis are looking for answers as to how the city’s Black Lives Matter mural got splattered with paint.
Officers say it likely happened overnight or early yesterday morning.
Pictures show a few splotches of paint on the mural on Indiana Avenue.
Indiana Avenue will be closed to thru traffic through Thursday.
Go see the beauty of the mural in person and reflect on the rich history of the neighborhood.
