Indiana AG’s office expects $700 million in opioid money

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s opioid payday could top $700 million dollars.

The Indiana Attorney General’s office last week told lawmakers the state could see that much in payments from opioid settlements and grants.

A good chunk of that money will come from Purdue Pharma’s $7 billion dollar settlement with a number of states.

That settlement is before a judge in New York and could be approved soon.
