Fort Wayne schools are dealing with a crossing guard shortage.
There are not enough people to man every busy corner in the city to help kids safely get to and from school. Parents say they’ve noticed and they’re worried.
Crossing guards do get paid in Fort Wayne, and pay starts at almost $13 dollars-an-hour.
They are, of course, hiring.
