INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Abortion providers are now suing the state of Indiana to try to block the state’s new near-total abortion ban.
The ACLU of Indiana and Planned Parenthood filed the lawsuit Thursday and say the fight is not over.
Senate Bill 1 was enacted in August only to allow abortions for rape, incest, the life and physical health of the mother, and lethal fetal anomalies.
Rape and incest victims have just ten weeks from the start of the pregnancy for an abortion.
