DEKALB CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – Police in DeKalb County say that alcohol is a suspected factor in a crash that happened Sunday evening.
Shortly after 8 p.m., DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 3800 block of County Road 56 on a report of an “unknown injury accident,” according to a report.
Once on the scene, officers found 38-year-old Danny J. Snyder of Saint Joe, Indiana. He was pointed out by witnesses as the driver of the vehicle that crashed into a pole.
He told police that he drifted left of center and ran off the road into a shallow ditch before hitting an electric pole.
The vehicle then spun to a rest. Snyder complained of pain and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police say that alcohol is believed to be a factor and the crash remains under investigation.
