FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – South Side High School is serving as the site for a safety and well-being pilot program, which includes a portable weapons detection system, student advocates, and the Alive Peacemaker program.
Fort Wayne Community Schools says that the numbers show the program is working in a big way.

The pilot began in August, and Fort Wayne Community Schools now has data to show how these three safety initiatives are working together. The data compares the first 40 days of school from 2022-2023 to 2023-2024 at South Side.
