INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana State Police are trying to figure out how four teens got into the State Capitol over the weekend and broke things.
It happened Sunday afternoon, but the damage wasn’t seen until yesterday morning.
The State Police say the teens broke or tossed anything they could get their hands on, including computers, glass display cases, and in one case a bench from a top floor that was tossed into the rotunda.
The teens are also accused of breaking into the House Chamber and writing graffiti all over the place. Capitol Police caught the teens after they ran from the Capitol, but they were all released to their parents.
No one is offering a motive for the damage.
